We offer a range of comprehensive advanced wound therapies, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), vascular and endovascular therapies to promote wound healing.
HBOT is a medical therapy that involves breathing 100% pure Oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure in a special chamber. HBOT triggers hyperoxia and speeds up the healing processes and can improve a number of health conditions.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment triggers strong hyperoxia. This means that it significantly increases the amount of oxygen in the blood plasma. This is essential for the recovery of different pathologies (diseases) where oxygen does not adequately reach the brain, cartilage, bone and other tissues.
Every patient heals differently: Age, illness or condition you have (as well as its severity), and overall health play a role in how well HBOT works for you. HBOT can even be more effective when combined with wound care, optimum nutritional status and physical therapy.
In most cases, you may need a referral from your Primary Care Physician or other Healthcare Provider in order to make an appointment at our clinic . However, some insurance plans may allow you to self-refer for certain types of services. We also accept self-pay patients.
During your first appointment, our team will review your medical history, perform a physical examination, and may order some laboratory tests, and some diagnostics tests as needed; such as X-ray, Ultrasound, CT scan or MRI. We will then work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your needs.
Most insurance plans do cover the cost of wound care treatments, indicated Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapies, vascular and endovascular therapies.
Recovery time can vary depending on the type of procedure you undergo and your individual health status. Our team will provide you detailed instructions for post-procedure care, including any activity restrictions; and will monitor your progress throughout your recovery.
Vascular treatment refers to surgical procedures that involve incisions to access and repair blood vessels, whereas endovascular treatment refers to minimally invasive procedures that use catheters and other instruments to access and repair blood vessels from within. Endovascular treatments are typically less invasive, have shorter recovery times, and carry fewer risks than traditional vascular surgery.
If you need to have surgery, our staff will discuss your options with you and help you choose the best course of treatment based on your specific needs and medical history. Depending on the nature of your condition, surgery may be the most appropriate option for achieving the best outcome.
Yes, non-invasive treatments for varicose veins are available. Some of the most common non-invasive treatments include compression stockings, lifestyle changes such as exercise and weight loss, and sclerotherapy, which involves injecting a solution into the affected veins to close them off. There are ablative techniques that can also be used. After consultation, we can recommend the best treatment approach for your individual case.
